We require that you sign our release form. You can click below to print it at home, or sign a copy when you arrive for your appointment .
Vaccination Policy
All dogs must be up to date on the following vaccines. Documentation of all vaccines will be requested upon first visit. These include but are not limited to the ones listed below:​​

Rabies (Hard copy required)
Refund Policy
Poshy Paws is a small business not a corporation, we can not issue refunds because of the necessity of paying the groomer for their time and effort on each groom. We will do anything else possible to fix a groom or experience to the best of our abilities.
Please note that Rabies vaccine is required by the State of Alaska for any dog or cat over 4 months of age.
Cancellation Policy
Intact Pet Policy
Animals that are intact may be subject to different rules. Intact Males may be referred out if they are being aggressive or overly hyperactive towards the groomer and other dogs. Intact Females may be turned away if they are in heat and will be turned away if they are pregnant. We deem it the safety of the dogs to decide to place restrictions on intact animals to avoid added stress.
Medicated Dog Policy
Dogs that require medication in order to be groomed will be charged an additional fee to accommodate for the extra time and effort it takes to groom a dog on medication. However we know sometimes medication does not work with certain behaviors and a referral may need to be necessary.
24 hour notice (48 hour notice for Felines) is required for cancellations or changes to appointments.
If less than 24 hour notice, clients are required to pay a cancellation fee upon their next appointment. If two appointments are missed without giving notice, Clients are then required to pre-pay prior to scheduling any future appointments.
Sassy Dog Policy
We are equipped to handle a lot of behaviors that may result in referral out at other salons. These behaviors may add time and effort to a otherwise quick groom so we are implementing a fee for any dog that may be a bit sassy and needs extra care.
